About

“Writing your first book takes ten years: Nine to get over the fear of failure and one to actually write the book.”

About this Class

We try to shorten that timeline as described by historical novelist Jefferson Flanders by demystifying the writing process. This class is designed to set you upon a writing journey with a plan, and with confidence.

We’ll discuss how to:

  • Figure out what book you should write
  • Organize and plan your book to save time
  • Create a writing routine in a busy life
  • Deal with fear, procrastination, and self-doubt
  • Stay motivated when things go wrong
  • Think and act like an author before you start getting paid to write
  • Save time and improve your writing with tools and apps
