This month we'll talk about "Buzzard," a dystopian novel of speculative fiction set for release in September 2026. This is the first novel by author Inez Ray, a member of BARN's Writers' Studio, who will join this conversation.

Join the Writers’ Studio Book Club and get fresh reads and expert voices every two months! We dive into a carefully selected book from different genres. Each session features a conversation led by an expert in the field, offering unique insight into the craft, context, and themes of the book.

Whether you're a writer, reader, or both, this is your chance to explore new voices, expand your literary horizons, and connect with a community that loves books as much as you do. Look for a new genre and a new book every round.
