This orientation is optional for Handwork Week students who are new to BARN and arriving early. All the information you need also will be covered in your workshop.

Learn everything about the studio, from etiquette and policies to an overview of what the studio has, and where it all is. You'll get to see the 3D printers, laser cutter, soldering station, hand tools, and more. And you'll learn overall BARN policies as well as studio-specific ones. You'll learn about the Tech Lab's leadership structure and opportunities to help everything run smoothly. Volunteer jobs range from serving as studio monitors to helping with studio maintenance.
