About

Class canceled via email from Fran on 9/27. There were no registrants.~tt

Try three of the many different crafts available in the fiber studio, or choose your favorite and build deeper skills.

Each week, we’ll have a quick featured project you can try, or, if you already have a fiber project in mind—sewing, knitting, weaving, or any fiber project you can imagine—we’ll help you make progress.

October 4th – Wet Felting
Pack roving (un-spun wool) around a ball, add water and soap, and then see what happens after you bounce and roll the ball for a few minutes. You’ll end up with a bag or a hat you can decorate with your own personal style.

Instructor: Isobel Coney

October 11th – Weaving on a Lap Loom
Weave plush yarns of different colors on a small lap loom to design a cool wall hanging for your room. You will learn the basics of weaving and several techniques to add design.
Instructor: Catherine Camp

October 18th – Sewing to Upcycle Denim
Start with old jeans and denim scraps to create a quick lunch bag you’ll love to carry every day.  In this class you will be learning basic sewing machine operation and hand sewing skills.
Teacher: Isobel Coney

Supplies provided by student: If you’re making your own project, you can bring any supplies you need.
