About this Class

From carving to ink pressing - learn to use the tools of the printmaker trade: cutters, brayers, ink, barens, paper, and press.

Details

• For youth ages 10-14. 
• Registration closes Dec. 27.
• When you register your youth, enter their name in the Youth's Name field and enter the parent/guardian email address for "registrants email." All reminders and important information will go to this email.
• Complete and return this minor permission form.
• We are grateful to the City of Bainbridge Island for a cultural funding grant that enables us to reduce the costs of Maker Monday classes for families.

Project

You will make an original printed art series.

Materials

There is a $20 materials fee included in the cost of the class. 

Students are encouraged to bring whatever sketchbook or drawings they have been working on and whatever drawing tools they prefer.

Instructor

Lauren Campbell has established herself as a prolific artist in the Pacific Northwest. She has been featured locally at the Poulsbo Arts Festival and The Bar at Cafe Hitchcock. Shortly after completing her printmaking studies at the University of Washington, Lauren became involved with BARN, where she has taught at the Teen Night program.
