Writers’ Open Studio Cafe Hours
Settle in and write as we transform the studio into a small, cozy café for a few hours each week.
Enjoy café hours at BARN's Writers Studio, complete with music, tea, and coffee.
Bring your laptop or notebook and soak up the café atmosphere so conducive to writing. You can expect music, white noise, or maybe lively chatter.
You're welcome to bring a small snack to share, if you'd like.
Instructor
Inez Ray is a California-born, Puget Sound−based writer. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in creative writing from San Francisco State University and has been a doula and midwife assistant for over a decade. Her debut novel, “Buzzard,” is out now with Left Unread and Bindery Books. It is one of the American Booksellers Association's top 10 picks for fall 2026 and can be found nearly anywhere books are sold. She is a parent to both human, furry, and feathered children alike. When she is not working on book two in the series, she is driving her kids around or taking her dogs for a walk.
