About

The good news: you've done the hard part and written a novel! The not-so-good news: publishers and agents are extremely busy people with stacks of promising manuscripts littering their desks already. Before you can get a publisher to buy your work, you need to convince them to read it in the first place.

We'll cover what to expect at your pitch session, strategies to help you nail your pitch, and what to do to master your "hook." For the last half of the Roundtable, willing participants can practice on the group.

About Your Instructor:
Isabel Gates is just back four days at the prestigious New York Pitch Conference in New York City, a premier career launcher for commercial authors. This event focuses on the art of the novel pitch as the best method not only for communicating your work but for having your work taken seriously by industry professionals.

Free Event at our new BARN facility, Three Tree Lane, Bainbridge
