Are you writing sensational sentences?

Writers love words—their nuanced meanings, their visual impact on the page, how they sound when pronounced out loud. Words alone don't make for great writing, though. It's how words are strung together into sentences that distinguish excellent from mediocre writing. 

Our monthly gathering in July will focus on identifying and creating sensational sentences. Take a look here  at The American Scholar magazine's editors picks for all-time great sentences.
