Open only to safety monitors for the Woodworking Studio, this refresher training session will begin with a discussion of  what is working well for monitors and what could be working better. Then we’ll divide into small groups for training  on our latest machine acquisitions and a review of key tools.

We are asking all monitors to attend one of these sessions if their schedule allows. Our studio was shut down due to COVID for roughly a year. Since reopening, we have welcomed many new members, and we have installed several new tools. We have seen that some members (new and old) need more supervision, as evidenced by imisuse of tools, broken tools, and even minor injuries.

We are offering this four times., each with limited enrollment Please sign up for one. Dates are:

• Thursday, Feb. 3, 9-noon
• Tuesday, Feb. 8, 9-noon
• Thursday, Feb. 10, 9-noon
• Tuesday, Feb. 15, noon-3 pm
