About

Learn to design aesthetically pleasing woodworking projects using time-honored principles of proportion and scale as Jim Tolpin kicks off the BARN Woodworkers' first monthly woodworking presentation in our new shop.

Tolpin is a woodworker, author and a founder and faculty member of the Port Townsend School of Woodworking. Among his many books is "By Hand & Eye," which explains the concepts that he will discuss at this meeting.

Tolpin has more than 30 years of professional woodworking experience. These days, he mostly builds furnishings, doors and windows using hand tools in his small shop, which he built himself.

All are welcome to attend monthly meeting of BARN's woodworking group. The format includes a short meeting followed by presentation, with coffee and nibbles.
