Join other woodworkers and those new to woodworking for our monthly general meeting. This month’s free program will introduce you to hollow-form vessel turning.

Many woodworkers are familiar with the spindle, pen and bowl turning that has been going on our lathe area. In March, we will offer classes in hollow-form vessel turning. To introduce you to this new and different type of woodworking we welcome Brad Stave as the speaker at our February meeting. He will provide a brief history of hollow turning tools and demonstrate their use, focusing on the process of hollow turning and safety tips. This will give you the opportunity to observe, learn and then decide if you want seek formal training in one of our upcoming classes.

Our monthly meetings always include an informative presentation on some aspect of this craft, plus a short business meeting. It's a good opportunity to meet other woodworkers of all skill levels, learn what's new in the shop, and share your thoughts on class offerings and shop operations.
