Learn about common and exotic woods at the Woodshop's first fall meeting. Jerry Williams from EdenSaw, the wonderful wood and tool store in Port Townsend, will discuss how the properties of different woods impact decisions about the best wood to use for a specific project. Putting the talk to practical use, we'll have a door prize: a gorgeous slab of wood collected by Roger Lauen, founder of the woodshop.

The business portion of the meeting, which will follow the presentation, will include establishing a leadership team and discussing fall activities.

If you've completed a woodworking project recently, bring it along to show off. Or if you're in mid-project and need advice, bring that and ask your questions.
