This is a beginning level class where students will learn how to form, cut, file, and solder sterling silver wire in order to make a chain necklace. Various patterns of sterling silver rings are available students to choose from. Students are encouraged to take several beginning classes.

Details:

• For ages 14 years and up.
• A $20 materials fee is included in the registration fee.
• Bring a bag lunch if you would like. BARN has a refrigerator you can store your lunch, located on the lower level.

Instructor: Jane Martin has taught jewelry making at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, for the Seattle Metals Guild, and the Bainbridge Island Parks Department. She is a founding board member of BARN and teaches in the Jewelry Studio. Her jewelry is shown at Facere Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle.
