About

Zarzo trays and baskets originated in Spain. Starting as a beautiful but utilitarian tray for cheesemaking, they have evolved into round, voluptuous, handled baskets. One special thing about zarzo-style baskets is that they have no cut ends on the inside of the basket, providing a smooth surface for whatever you gather. They also make ideal mushrooming baskets!

No experience is needed to participate in this class, BUT you will need strong and nimble hands. This basket is traditionally made while sitting/kneeling on the ground and getting up and down regularly. Some accommodations for physical limitations are available, but it will still be challenging.

Details

A materials fee of $75, included in the cost of the class, covers everything you'll need for this project.
