About

This class uses the scroll bender to fabricate mild steel strips for use in gates, trellises, plant stands, etc.

The class will provide the opportunity to make a plant stake and/or begin work on a trellis or gate as the time allows.

Previous welding experience is NOT a prerequisite for scroll work or for basic tack welds.

Class size is 3 people facilitating one-on-one learning and direct mentoring. 

• There is a materials fee of $18 for steel, gas, and filler wire.
• BARN will provide Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
• Participants must wear long sleeve shirts and pants in natural fiber clothing and closed toe shoes.  Stretch fabrics are prohibited.
