This is a Metal Arts Welding Assisted Studio for members and non-members to work on personal projects. Assisted studios have a $15 fee for Members and $25 for Non-Members. This class is for those that have had MIG 1, 2, or 3 OR previous welding experience. A monitor will be available to assist participants with proper use of the equipment, welding techniques, and fabrication. (The monitor has discretion regarding ill-advised projects.) 

Participants may practice their welding skills or pursue their projects and are encouraged to bring their own project materials. There will be a safety refresher. Please contact Henry Sharpe at the email below if you have questions.

An additional materials fee of $15 for up to 5 pounds of steel, filler wire, gas, and consumables will be added to the class price when you register.

BARN will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Participants must wear natural fiber clothing, closed toe shoes, no stretch fabrics.  Dress warmly, the studio may be cold.

If only one student has registered 48 hours before the open studio time, the studio will be cancelled. 

Teacher/Monitor:  Dave Roe is an amateur welder and a principal in the Metals Studio. He is a Board Member at BARN.
