As a BETA WORKSHOP it will be based on sharing knowledge, experience and skills and trialing the equipment of the welding studio preparatory to offering a formal class.  This is a workshop format opportunity to work on brazing technique with oxy/acetylene.  Participants are expected to be experienced with oxy/acetylene and be prepared to set up and use the equipment. Participants are expected to have reviewed brazing techniques and be prepared to share their experience and knowledge with each other.  

There is a $18 materials fee that will be included in the cost of class for gas, various metals, brazing rod, flux, consumables and PPE.

BARN will provide Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

Details:

Participation is at the discretion of the facilitator.

Participants must wear long sleeve shirts and pants in natural fiber clothing and closed toe shoes (preferably leather or cotton).  Stretch fabrics are prohibited.

Facilitator: Henry Sharpe.  Henry is an amateur welder and a participant in the Metal Fabrication group at BARN.
