Fringe twisting? Hem stitching? Lets look at samples, play with techniques, and get those projects done!

The Fiber Studio’s weaving labs are short, facilitated workshops (one to one and a half hours) focused on a topic, technique, or idea for weavers on all types of looms. These workshops occur on Weaving Wednesdays, so you are welcome to bring a weaving project to work on, too. 

Details

  • Ages 14 and up are welcome.
  • Skill Level: All levels
  • Free for members. Guests pay $20 (and can also attend Weaving Wednesdays open studio).
  • Drop-ins welcome, but please register if possible.  

Class Policies

Instructor
Dale Walker

Dale is the needle arts coordinator for the Fiber Arts Studio. She enjoys weaving, knitting, embroidery, sewing, dyeing, and surface design. She took a class in rigid heddle weaving at BARN and loved it. Within three months, she had her own rigid heddle loom and had woven 12 scarves. She loves experimenting with different weaving techniques and then teaching others how to do them.
