Dented Weave is a weaving technique which leaves open spaces in the warp and weft, resulting in a light, draped, airy weave. It is a good way to make light summer scarves. This technique can be used on any loom, but we will be demonstrating and teaching on a rigid heddle loom.

Details

• You should bring the yarn you intend to use for your dented weave project. This is a good project to use lighter weight yarn, like sock yarn. For questions about yarn, please consult the instructor prior to the weave-along.
• You will need a rigid heddle loom. You may bring your own loom, or use one of the studio's.
• Do not pre-warp your loom.

Prerequisites

Basic ability to setup a rigid needle loom to weave. Previous completion of Introduction to Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving or equivalent experience.

Ages 14 and up are welcome.
