We'll cover techniques like brush strokes, values, washes, color mixing, saving whites, textures, and negative painting through fun, fast-paced projects. After finishing, you'll have a solid understanding of basic watercolor techniques.

Because we cover so much information, this class includes detailed notes from our workshop, as well as instructional videos for later referral.

• Skill level: All levels welcome, from beginners to those who want to brush up on their techniques.
• Bring lunch, snacks, and drinks. We'll take a 30-minute lunch break each day. There is a refrigerator and microwave you can use on the lower level. 

Details

You need to bring all your own materials, such as palettes and brushes of various sizes as well as professional grade paint and paper. A detailed list will be sent after registration. Quality materials are important for successful watercolor painting.
