In this class, you'll choose a warm or cool colorway to learn how to bead weave open-backed bezels out of Japanese seed beads for a pair of Swarovski rivolis. You'll also to add Swarovski bicone beads, more Japanese seed beads, and Czech Charlotte seed beads to the Swarovski rivolis to transform them into a beautiful pair of earrings. You can use the peyote stitch bead weaving pattern you'll learn in class to bezel many other shapes and sizes of cabochons and stones for necklaces, bracelets, rings, and pins, as well as earrings. You'll receive more information about using peyote stitch, plus an extensive list of online sites to find everything bead-weaving related.

Details

A materials fee of $25 will provide you with a kit of everything you need in either a warm or cool colorway.

If you need glasses for close or detail work, please remember to bring them!

Project

Bead weaving open-backed bezels out of Japanese seed beads for cabochons, and stones that do not have holes, and/or have irregular shapes, and how to embellish bezeled cabochons, and stones for their use in making jewelry.
