About

Create your own accordion-style sketchbook and learn how to use it as a portable tool for observing and drawing the natural world.

After making our books, we’ll go outside to sketch leaves, trees, and textures, building simple techniques you can use on future walks, trips, and adventures. You'll have the option to add color with watercolor paints and colored pencils. This class is about slowing down, noticing more, and taking creativity with you wherever you go.

Details

A materials fee of $7 covers everything needed.

In a previous role as Arts Coordinator at IslandWood, she facilitated a wide range of arts experiences for youth and adults across disciplines such as printmaking, watercoloring, land installation art, weaving, drumming, dance, and drama.
