If you sew or know someone who does, here's a chance to make an elegant seam ripper as you also learn the basic concepts of turning small wooden objects, which you can apply to a wide array of future projects. You will also learn to use a drill press to prepare your turning blanks.

Details:

  • Beginners are welcome.
  • An additional fee of $18 to cover materials will be collected online when you register and pay.
Instructor: Oscar Barbo has been a woodworker and turner for more than 25 years. Oscar is well traveled, learning his turning in Hawaii, where he relished making pens from the local Koa wood. He often uses rare woods and non-wood materials like bone and antler. He is  looking share his skills while promoting pen design.
