About

This class has been canceled. There was only one registrant and she emailed on 10/28 to cancel.

Curious about wet felting? Join us for this 3-hour "Try it!" class in the BARN Fiber Studio where we’ll wet-felt around a playground ball. Make a hat or a cute pouch by wrapping colored roving (un-spun wool) around your ball, covering it all in pantyhose, and spritzing it with hot, sudsy water. Bounce the ball for a few minutes, and then—it’s almost like magic!—deflate the ball to discover what you’ve made. At home you can add details with embroidery or needle felting, or just enjoy it as-is.

This is a fun and easy way to give wet-felting a try!

BARN will provide roving, pantyhose, and a playground ball.

You bring a pair of dishwashing gloves and a sense of fun.

Important Details:

  • A $20 materials fee is added to the tuition price to cover the cost of the roving and other materials.
  • Please review our safety protocols before registering. BARN wide safety protocols can be found here. Fiber Studio specific safety protocols can be found here.
  • Skill Level: Beginning
  • Ages 14+ Welcome.
  • Tuition assistance is available. Click here to apply.
