Designing your own one-of-a-kind fabric is fun and easy! Come Try It! in this 2.5-hour class.

You’ll carve potatoes with your own designs and use printing ink to print your fabric. We’ll provide 2 tea towels (you can purchase more from the instructor), and we’ll also provide the potatoes, cutting tools, and printing ink. You can also bring your own natural-fiber fabric (cotton or linen) to cover with your designs.

  • There is a materials fee of $10 included in the price of the class.

Instructor Bio:

Isobel Coney enjoys combining cultural, environmental, and historical studies with art, using techniques spanning painting, quilting, felting, knitting, batik, printmaking, hand-made paper, and woodland crafts. She has experience teaching in schools and running workshops for adults. She is an active member of the Arts Washington Roster of Teaching Artists and passionate about experimenting with new techniques and sharing that journey with students.
