About

Design and create a set of mosaic coasters on 4 1/4-inch ceramic tile bases, perfect for brightening your coffee table or gifting to someone special. You’ll learn how to plan a simple design, cut and shape glass or tile, and grout your finished pieces for a smooth, durable surface. You’ll use nippers, adhesive, and grout while exploring color and texture on a small, satisfying scale.

This is a great introduction to mosaics and pairs beautifully with future projects such as trivets, mirrors, or wall art. All materials and tools are provided — just bring your creativity and curiosity!

Details

Skill level: Beginners welcome. If you’ve taken a mosaic class before, you’ll likely feel more at ease with the tools and design process, but no experience is necessary to enjoy and succeed in this project.

Details

A $12 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers everything you'll need.

Class Policies

  • Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required in the studio at all times.
  • Ages 14 and up are welcome.
