About

Come to the Welding Shop and learn how to work with metal, or build on your current metal-working skills. You'll begin with a safety briefing so you can safely work in the shop. Then you’ll learn how to use all the tools you'll need to make your creations, like MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welders, cutters, grinders, vices, and spot welders.

Once you’ve got the basics, you’ll practice your skills in making your own imitations of the things you see in the wild (flowers, birds, or animals). You’ll use old spoons, forks, table knives, and other scrap metal parts we’ve collected at BARN. A wonderful opportunity to learn new metal shop skills while having great fun!
