This introductory sheet metal class will familiarize you with the cutting and bending techniques used in the sheet metal shop.  You will use those techniques on the manually operated brake and jump shear as well as hand tools to make a phone or tablet stand.  Class size is limited to four for safety so the instructor can focus on and help students. 

No prior sheet metal experience is required. This class will include a safety briefing.

Age Level: Youth Class, Ages *12-17.

• *12 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult

• If you sign up for the full week of classes offered in the Metal Fabrication studios (July 22 through July 26) you will receive a 20% discount. • BARN reserves the right to cancel this class in the case of low enrollment and will notify families of this decision one week prior to the start of the class.  A full refund will be given.
