Registration for this class has been closed. Please sign up here for this same Adirondack class offered the week of August 13th.

Students will build a classic Adirondack Chair from local cedar wood. You will learn to use band saws, miter (chop) saws, routers, sanders, and drills. Proper tool usage and safety will be practiced and reviewed.  You will start out with a stack of cedar boards and take home your own Adirondack Chair at the end of the week.    

Materials Fee of $100 will be added at the time of registration.

Important Notes:

• Please bring this permission slip to the first day of class.

• Please dress appropriately for working in the Woodshop: close-toed shoes, long pants, hair tied back.

Instructor Wayne Chang: 

Wayne enjoys the challenge and problem solving that goes along with woodworking. In the past, most of his woodworking involved rebuilding his 100-year-old house. Now it revolves around anything that his daughter is asking him to build.
