For youth ages 14 - 18
In this class you will be introduced to the components of the tool room lathe; safety issues, and how to use the lathe to make various types of shapes. During the class you will make a cool and functional spinning top to take home.

When registering for class, you will be required to pay an additional $10 materials fee for brass and steel. This will then be added to the base price of the class and totaled to give the amount due.

• Students must wear natural fiber clothing, long pants, closed toe shoes, no stretch fabrics, hair tied back, no dangling jewelry.  
• This 1-day (3 hour) class is also offered on July 24, 25, 26, and 27. It is not sequential.
