This class is designed for youth ages 12 to 17. 

In this class, students will create an 8 inch square plate with stringer embellishments.  The stringers create visual interest and are used to intentionally embed decorative bubbles in kiln-formed glass.  It's a great class for beginners.  Students will create their plate which will be fired in the kiln after class and be available for pick up the following week.

Age Level: Youth Class, Ages 12-17.

The materials fee is included in the class tuition and provides glass and stringers.  All tools and safety equipment are available in the Studio.

Instructor Bio:  Donna Rulien

Donna learned the fused glass craft at BARN starting in the Rolling Bay location.  She continues to learn new techniques and happily shares what knowledge she has - and with 10 grandchildren - she understands how to work with youth!
