About

What if a door, mirror, or locker at your school led to another world — and you were the one who created it? Explore how authors build unforgettable worlds like the dragon kingdoms of Wings of Fire, the hidden mythological world of Percy Jackson & the Olympians, and the secret magical society in Amari and the Night Brothers. You'll design your own world by creating maps, inventing rules, and imagining creatures, cultures, and hidden or parallel realities. You'll develop characters who live in your world and face challenges shaped by the setting you create.

By the end of the week, you'll write a three-page original story set in a world entirely of your own making.
Build a world, open a portal, and tell your story.
