About

BARN member $156 (Two 5-hour sessions)
Non-member $170
April 25 and 26

Create surfaces that evoke ancient frescos in this two-day workshop. You will create a series of your own unique prints using a variety of methods, including drypoint, monoprint, collage and hand-coloring with acrylics and watercolor.

We will be using the intaglio print process. The prints will pass through the press numerous times with hand coloring and collage work between the printed layers.

There will be a materials fee of $2 per sheet of Stonehenge, as used per student.

Please bring several (or more) images to work from in the workshop. They can be figurative, landscape, abstract etc.  The main criteria is that they are images that interest you.  They can be from a drawing, photo or image from another artist. Also be sure to bring an apron to protect your clothes. Or you can purchase a BARN apron for $34 at the workshop.
