We will set beach glass and cabochon stones by constructing bezels. Soldering and forming metal will be shown. Students will have time to make setting/s for earrings, a ring and/or a pendant. Please bring beach glass or stones if you have some  to the first class.  We can tumble glass to make 'beach glass' so also bring colored glass bottles to use and share. The studio has gemstone cabochons to sell. 

This is second level or intermediate class held in 4 sessions for those that have taken a jewelry class or two at BARN or other places. 

A $20 material fee will be added to class fee when you register. 

Instructor: 
Jane Martin has taught jewelry making at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, for the Seattle Metals Guild, and the Bainbridge Island park department. Her jewelry is shown at Facere Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle. She has been making jewelry since she was in high school and has a BFA from University of the Arts, Philadelphia. She has walked many beaches and collects glass and ceramic shards.
