About

Day 2 of the Spartronics Machine Shop Series. Focus will be on design drawings, dimensioning, and how tolerances are used to ensure specifications meet design needs.

Prerequisites

Must be a member of BIHS Spartronics Team

Class Policies

Parental Authorization required for those under the age of 18 years. Wear natural-fiber clothing, long pants, and closed-toed shoes (natural fiber or leather). No stretch fabrics. Tie back long hair.

Instructor
David Hays

David worked as a machinist in his early adult years, obtained his engineering degrees from Colorado Sate University, and operated his own IT services company for 30 years. He had both a woodshop and machine shop in Sammamish prior to moving to Bainbridge Island in 2018.
