If you’re thinking “what is Slack!?” then this tour is for you! Slack is an online communication platform used by many companies and organizations around the world, and some BARN studios use it informally to keep connected. The platform has become so widely adopted during The Pandemic that the company making the software is now valued at $18 billion!

This casual tour will be offered by a BARN member who has already embraced Slack. We’ll compare and contrast Slack to other communication platforms like email, social media, and forums. We’ll also give you a glimpse of how a “power user” uses Slack and we’ll compare that to what you’d see as a new user.

As a BARN Member, we will send you an invite to our BARN ETA studio Slack channel if you'd like! The presentation will take place online via Zoom (the other big winner of The Pandemic).
