About

Class canceled by Jeanne via an email on 10/12 from instructor that he wouldn't be able to teach it.~tt

**This workshop will be live streamed via Zoom.**

The first step in designing and making any object is translating the idea into a two-dimensional plan, and that starts with a drawing.

In this class, you will learn how to add one- and two-point perspective to sketches as you experiment with different design ideas and settle on a final plan.

This class is for beginners and people who want to revisit their drawing skills.  This class will be useful to you whatever your discipline.

Details:

  • Registration will close at Noon on Tuesday, October 27th.
  • This class will be taught via the Zoom video conferencing program. For a great video on how to use Zoom, watch this tutorial.
  • A link will be sent to join the Zoom online meeting to the email address you register with. Please watch for this email.
  • Tuition assistance is available. Click here to apply.
  • In gratitude to our members for their continued support during the closures, BARN is offering all classes for free to BARN members through December 2020.  Members are still responsible for paying materials and mailing fees, where applicable. If a class is full, please add your name to the wait list in case a space opens up or we are able to offer another class. Check our calendar frequently as more classes are being added each week!

Instructor: Michael Gunderson moved to Bainbridge after a thirty-plus year career in California Public education.  His degree is in the arts and has taught classes in art, jewelry, ceramics and the trades, as well as serving as an activities and athletic director.  He has always found a great pleasure in communicating with young people.

He thinks of himself as a person who solves visual problems.  He proposes a situation and looks to openly create a visual answer, whether it be paint, wood or combinations of media. He is not political in his work - not even angry. He's looking for the fun and the whacky.
