In this Metal Arts Sheet Metal Orientation and Tool Safety class, you will learn the proper use of the studio's tools and equipment; most importantly the brake and jump shear.  You will learn proper use of the hand shear. You will try your hand with the equipment virtually all of which is hand operated.  This class is highly advised for all students to attend before you can sign up for classes.  This class is free but please register as there is a class size limitation of 4 students. Class size is for safety so the instructor can focus on the presentation and to help students.  

Instructor:  Linda Sohlberg.  Linda is a registered architect.  She is also active in the woodworking studio at BARN.
