In this Metal Arts Sheet Metal Orientation and Tool Safety class, you will learn the proper use of the studio's tools and equipment; most importantly the brake and jump shear.  You will try your hand with the equipment virtually all of which is hand operated.  This class is very highly advised for all students to attend before you sign up for classes or come to Open Studio. This class is free but please register as there is a class size limitation of 4 students. Class size is for safety so the instructor can focus on the presentation and to help students.  

Instructor:  Chris Stanley: Model Maker, Educator, Artist. Chris spent the last 18 years teaching it all in the industrial design program at The Art Institute of Seattle.
