About

Having your own tin cup is an indispensable accessory for back packing overnights, late night poker games or cosplaying an under world character.

In this class you will make your own tin cup or pencil jar learning how to work with the jump shear and aviation shears to cut the metal. Then the break and roller to bend and form the material. Finally we will use silicone seal and a spot welder to seal and assemble our projects.

You will make either a cup with a handle or a cylindrical container (pencil jar).

This is our most basic and shortest sheet metal class. A great introduction for beginning tinsmiths.

A materials fee of $10 will be added to the invoice when you register.

Instructor: Chris Stanley  Although Chris has not spent time in the state penitentiary. He’d does find his tin cup handy for a variety of uses. He is a professional model maker, educator and inventor. He has a wealth of information he loves to share.
