This introductory sheet metal class will familiarize you with the cutting and bending techniques used in the sheet metal shop.  You will use those techniques on the manually operated brake and jump shear as well as hand tools to make a trivet and/or a photo display.  Class size is limited to four for safety so the instructor can focus on and help students. 

No prior sheet metal experience is required, although it will be helpful to have taken the free Sheet Metal Safety Class.  This class will include a safety briefing.

Additional materials fee of $10 for sheet metal will be added to your total when you register for class.

Dress warmly, the studio may be cold.

The minimum class size is two.  If only one student has registered 48 hours before the studio, the class will be cancelled.

Instructor:  Linda Sohlberg.  Linda is a registered architect.  She is also active in the woodworking studio at BARN.
