Tired of cheap flimsy plastic dust pans that always leave that last bit of dirt on the floor? Join us in the Sheet Metal Shop and learn to make your own improved metal dust pan.
Two sizes will be offered: household and shop.

You’ll use a wide range of sheet metal tools including a shear, brake, shrinker, punch and pop rivet tool.

Details:

• No prior sheet metal experience is required, although it will be helpful to have taken the two-hour Sheet Metal Safety class.
  
• Additional materials fee of $18 for sheet metal will be added to your total when you register for class.
  

• Participants must wear natural fiber clothing, long pants, closed toe shoes (natural fiber or leather), no stretch fabrics, and long hair tied back.
  

Instructor:  Chris Stanley: Model Maker, Educator, Artist. Chris spent the last 18 years teaching it all in the industrial design program at The Art Institute of Seattle.
