Summer fun calls for a good summer beverage of choice. On your boat or on the sand, think good rosés. Explore the options between sweet or dry, fruit or sparkles. We will blind taste six different options to find the winner. No experience needed.

Details

  • Ages 21 and up are welcome.
  • A $35 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers the wine we'll taste in class.
  • Registration closes June 22.
  • Wear closed-toed shoes to class.

Class Policies

 

Instructor
Phil Toohey

Phil Toohey joined the wine industry in 1975 in the buying office at Macy’s Union Square in San Francisco. Toohey went on to take a position on the national sales team at Sebastiani Vineyards in Sonoma, Calif. Since that time, he has managed wineries and developed two of his own wine brands in Napa Valley. Toohey is a member of the Society of Wine Educators and taught wine classes and tasting for Total Wines in Silverdale. He lives on Bainbridge Island with his wife, Necie.
