My creative path began with a degree in fashion design, where I developed a lasting appreciation for color, texture, form and the beauty of hand-crafted detail. Over time, that foundation evolved into my own landscape design business, allowing me to bring creativity into living spaces through plants, natural materials and thoughtful outdoor environments. That creative journey later led me to create abstract mixed media art, where I explored layered surfaces, intuitive mark-making and expressive composition. I later went on to teach workshops, sharing the joy of creative exploration with others. Throughout my life, I have always returned to embroidery, a passion that began in childhood and continues to inspire me. In recent years, Sashiko has become a deep and steady focus. I am drawn not only to its beauty, rhythm, and simplicity, but also to the meditative, Zen-like joy it brings. Today, I hope to share Sashiko with others as both an art form and a calming creative practice. My desire is to create a community, inviting people to experience the quiet beauty, connection, and peaceful joy that comes from stitching by hand.
