This instructional and hands-on hour is meant for beginners who've always wanted to code but never knew where to start. Programming languages like Python can help you automate tedious tasks, build your own tools, and solve problems in new ways. 

Details

  • In this class, you will learn Python fundamentals, see live coding demonstrations, and receive guidance on installing and configuring Python on your computer. 
  • You'll write and run your very first lines of code in Python and will leave with a functional development environment that is ready to continue using the moment you get home. 

Materials

  • Bring a laptop, if possible. Tablets and smartphones can be capable substitutes, but are less ideal.
