For emerging weavers, students who have warped their own floor loom and are not quite totally comfortable doing it.  This class will cover the essential tools in how to plan and complete a weaving project. 

Topics covered include:

• basic color theory;
• outlining project design elements for different types of projects;
• weaving tips for structural integrity; 
• support for setting up your loom;
•  and project creation.  

The class is designed for students who have set up a floor loom but want to gain confidence in weaving and go to the next level in planning and completing a project. 

Students will weave either a scarf, table runner, or set of tea towels as part of the class.    

Materials: Patterns and materials are provided. 

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner: Students should be able to warp their own loom independently or with coaching/assistance.

Ages: Ages 14+ Welcome.

We have a refrigerator for people to store their drinks.

Instructor Bio: Teachers for the class are all long-time BARN weavers and fiber artists:  Carol Reynolds, Lynne Hart, and Deb Sweet.
