  • Feel free to bring a clothing item that needs to be patched to discuss in class.
  • You should be comfortable threading a machine on your own.

Prerequisites

Materials

A $10 materials fee, included in the price of the class, includes iron on patches and two patch tests.

Instructor
Jana Kelly

Jana has been in to creating and fixing since her mother first showed her how to thread a sewing machine. She has participated in the John Campbell Folk School work study program and has taken classes in cake decorating, quilting, wood turning, weaving, calligraphy, and more. As a librarian, she created engaging programs teaching adults new skills such as making sushi, making cheese, and fabric dying. While she leans towards practical crafts, she'll try anything once.
