In this sheet metal class, you'll learn to make a post hood that will fit under a bird feeder so rodents and other small animals can't get to the feeders.  To ensure that those critters are kept far enough away, you'll also learn to calculate the diameter & circumference of the post to fabricate a wrap that will fit snugly onto the post.

The materials cost for class fabrication will range from $12 to $24 depending on size and materials used, payable in class.

The Sheet Metal Studio will be open Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 6 pm to 8 pm for open studio time to finish any class projects.

No prior sheet metal experience is required, although it will be helpful to have taken the two-hour Sheet Metal Safety class, offered twice a month on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 pm.
