Instructor emailed on 3/20 to cancel that she won't be available. I am holding off on notifying students until 3/23 after the mass email has been sent out to all our contacts that all classes for April are canceled. In this class you will be guided through creating a pictorial journal employing your inspirational thoughts and memories. In this workshop you will make a booklet to keep for yourself, give away to a special person as a thank you, get well wish, memorial or memory of a favorite trip or experience.  You can bring your own ephemera, quotes, stories, and poems. The instructor can also supply some additional materials to get you started.

Pamela Wachtler is a painter/printmaker with a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia and is represented here on the Island by Roby King Gallery for the past 20 years.

Her art was featured in solo shows at the University of Washington and Bainbridge Museum of Art in 2018 and 2019. As a creative and meditative practice, she makes journals in which quotes, synchronicity and humor are interwoven into her pages. Her absolute favorite quote: “What do you never leave home without? My sanity, and if I cannot find it I just go as is.” ~Tif Fussel
