In this ALL LEVELS workshop, the instructor will cover marbling, and experiment with abstract & textured designs. Students will also learn the basic brush techniques and the use of Glassline paint & paper. 

Decorative metal inclusions  can be added to  10" x 10" create a wall piece and will be kiln fired permanently fusing the glass and setting the painted surfaces, producing a uniquely colorful, eye-catching art piece. These pieces if desired could be slumped at a point in the future and be used as a platter.

There is an additional materials fee of $60 which will be added to the cost of class when you register.

Instructor:  Elaine Greene

Elaine has been a ceramic and mixed media artist for over thirty years. She owned her own hand-painted Italian pottery business in the wine country of Northern California for over fifteen years, selling her work to wineries and retail stores throughout the U.S. Elaine also taught art to children and adults for several years at non-profit art organizations. 

After twenty plus years of creating pottery, she started experimenting with dichroic glass, fusing, copper enamel work, and more incorporating these different techniques & materials into her artwork. Elaine recently moved her studio to Rolling Bay.
